Overview

247Bet is a newer entrant to the UK betting scene, positioning itself as a fast, modern platform built around convenience and round‑the‑clock access. The app focuses on strong football and in‑play markets, and a streamlined bet slip designed for speed. Despite being a younger brand, 247Bet aims to compete with established bookmakers through a clean interface, reliable payouts, and a mobile‑first experience tailored to frequent bettors.

Ease of Use — ⭐⭐☆

247Bet app comes with a web-like interface that looks as if it was derived from its website version, and upon closer examination there are some texts that could either be resized or abbrievated in a better manner (e.g., "All sports" to "All spo..."). Nevertheless, it does its job fine, and most of its primary features are accessible above the fold.

The app always opens in a logged-out state which is completely fine, except that it also requires you to log in manually everytime the app is closed or if your session has timed out. This is a big miss, considering that almost all modern apps are already making use of native authentication flow to log users in (i.e., FaceID, Auto Sign-In).

Deposit and Withdrawal

Depositing is made really simple as the button is clearly visible at the top right. Upon tapping the button, you are brought to the Deposit page.

It is nice that they have provided a few fixed options (£20, £40, £50), all while defaulting to the minimum amount.

Notice that there is a little box below the amount input box that says "Searching for bonuses". The text inside or the circle does not provide any visual feedback (they do not move), and I initially thought that it is a faulty UI element. However, if you wait a couple more seconds, the bonus input options show up.

The bonus selection step is important for users who want to claim bonuses. For example, if they have offers that says something like Deposit Bet & Get or Deposit for Free Spins, you have to choose the appropriate bonus before you click the Deposit button. This informs the system to activate the correct bonus for your account upon a successful deposit.

Moving on, the Withdrawal page is slightly hidden from view. From homepage, first tap the hamburger icon at the top left. This opens the side menu. You can then tap My Account to bring up your Account page. From your Account page, you can find the Withdraw button.

I am a strong believer of weighing both deposit and withdraw elements equally, and unfortunately in this case 247Bet failed to do that. It takes twice the number of actions to withdraw as compared to depositing, making me feel that they may not like withdrawals.

Homepage content

The homepage features price boosts, an extremely common feature in all apps that I've reviewed so far. It also has a prominent carousel of promotions, such as Acca Boost and Odds Boost.

Scrolling down, you first get to view a few live matches, followed by a list of the most popular upcoming football matches, where you can see odds and place match result bets in one tap. With such a design choice, it seems to me that 247Bet app is specifically placing emphasis on live-betting across different sports.

You can also search for teams or championship name. Tap the magnifying glass button on the top bar from your homepage to open the search bar, and type your search term to search for matches.

Responsiveness

The app is somewhat responsiveness, although it took about 4.3s to first load up the homepage that is not logged-in.

Navigating between pages is mostly snappy, averaging 0.6s for most pages. In-play football matches load relatively quickly as well, within 0.8s most of the time.

However, I can feel delays between input and feedback in some menu items (for example, there is a short delay from my input tap to any response from the UI). There is no shame in loading screens and progress indicators, but they should be displayed as soon as possible so that users know exactly what they should expect.

UX Facts

  • Average page loading speed: 0.7s
  • Overall responsiveness: Okay-ish

Customisation

There are no major customisation options (e.g., dark mode). There is also no option to pin favorites. The theme is a nice dark and green theme, somewhat reminiscent of another betting app, Midnite.

Placing a bet

To place a bet, tap a selection. This adds the selection to your Betslip. A default stake of £10 is pre-filled for you, but you can enter your own amount if you want to.

Placing a Bet Builder bet

When you are in a match's page, the Bet Builder tab can be found in the middle bar. Tap the Bet Builder tab on a match page, pick your selections, and they would be automatically added to your Betslip, ready to be placed.

Placing an accumulator bet

When you add multiple selections, after you open your Betslip, the Multiple tab is automatically selected. This is a nice touch, as the UI assumes that you want to place an accumulator bet.

Another interesting thing I've noticed is that there is a very obvious banner tip that is shown to me, stating that adding an extra leg to my accumulator would boost my odds. This is something that more apps should do — a non-intrusive bite-size information that informs the user about something that they may never know about (odds boost on 3-legs).

How to use free bets

When you are placing an eligible bet, there will be an option that says "Use Freebet". If the option does not appear, it means that your current bet is not eligible for it, and you'll have to read the terms.

Minimum Deposit — £20

The minimum deposit is £20, which is on the higher-end compared to most of the bigger apps where the minimum is usually £5.

However, 247Bet currently offers a 100% matched deposit offer of up to £50, where they will match your deposit amount via free bets. Hence, to take full advantage of the offer, if you deposit £50 you will be awarded with another £50 bonus funds.

247Bet

100% Bonus up to £50

Claim Offer

18+ New players only. Opt-in required. Min deposit £20. Offer is 100% match bonus up to £50 on first deposit. BeGambleAware.org.

This essentially works like free bets, just that you cannot withdraw them straight away before meeting wagering requirements (otherwise bookmakers will go bust from people depositing £50 and then withdrawing £100 immediately after).

Offers & Promotions — ⭐⭐☆

247Bet provides an excellent welcome offer, but subsequent offers are somewhat sparse. Here's a list of the most common offers:

  • Matched Deposit — bonus funds matching deposit amount.
  • Bet & Get — welcome or sign-up bonus.
  • Bore Draws — cash refund on 0-0 draw.
  • Acca boosts — enhanced winnings on accumulator bets.
  • Booster Wheel — daily spin for deposit offers, free spins.
  • Tennis Cashback — 10% cashback on in-play tennis losses.
  • Free bets — random, completely free bets (£2).
  • Early Cash-Out — lock in profits before event finishes.
  • and many more...

Free Bets In Detail

I used the 247Bet app over a 30-day period, starting from first deposit, and focused on available offers and promotions.

247Bet doesn't really offer anything much on a consistent basis for the occasional punter, other than a daily Booster Wheel where the rewards are typically Deposit for Free Spins, or rare completely free spins.

Below is my table of values of free bets and offers that I got to enjoy over a month.

Withdrawal Speed — ⭐⭐⭐

Withdrawals are typically processed within a few hours for most payment methods. Withdrawal to my debit Mastercard took exactly 75 minutes on a working day afternoon.

Almost all UK-licensed bookmakers, including 247Bet, restrict withdrawals to previously used payment methods to comply with UK regulations.

Overall Value — ⭐⭐☆

247Bet’s mobile app delivers the basics well enough, but it falls short of the polish seen in the best betting apps. The login flow feels clunky, the interface feels old with small layout issues, and responsiveness can be hit‑and‑miss. Still, it functions reliably for straightforward betting and casual users who don’t need a premium experience.

The current welcome offer is simple and appealing — up to £50 matched deposit for new customers. It’s one of the more accessible betting app promotions, with clear terms and an easy claim process, making it a solid starting point for anyone exploring new UK betting apps.
